OFFICE POLITICS

tiring day at work today... actually i spent the entire day trying to solve a javascript error from my blog... not much office work done... but still... it's tiring...

actually... i wanted to do some of my office work but was very sian coz of something that i saw....

i guess in every office there will be office politics... there will always be pple that is skiving... while others slogged like shit to cover up for those that is not working... like it or not, it's a unescapble fact of life...

like for my case... i'm sitting at the front counter always have to attend to walk- in customers, those that are paying and also answer all the phone calls... like that is not busy enuff,my boss often ask me to find statistics... coordinate projects... prepare proposals... actually that shld not be my job also... he already have a admin asst already... she is so often free that i always see her on the net blogging....

Example 1
over the weekend, there was a lot of new files that came from headquarters... i was supposed to print out some documents and attach them to each individual files. but i was busy doing some of the project stuff for my boss that he asked the admin ger to do those files instead.

those files came in on thurs evening... almost everyday since then i've always seen her blogging... or doing other stuff... practically doing everything but the files... until i got pissed off this morning and cleared half of the stack within 10 mins while she took 3 days to do the other half...

see.. like i told u... there will always be pple that skive and disappear... while others have to clear up their mess...

Example 2
most companies actually will lose money at the end of the day when u count the cash that u have received for the day... i do not know if it's fortunate or unfortuante that my company actually received $400 more ...

oh well... normally i'm the person that actually collects all the money and invoices... however if i had to go off early for the day, i'll pass all the money and invoices to another girl(the same admin ger mentioned above)... on the days that she was in charge.... she actually colected $400 more...

when i found out on the next working day which is a monday... of course i asked her first... who noes that there might be a reason for there to be extra $ in the cashbox rite... come on... i not that unreasonable lar....

but she said she did not know why was there extra cash... then i was pretty pissed off already... the way she answered.... it's as if she pushing all the blames on me...

the entire day i was hunting high and low.. looking at all the computer records.. the paper records...even digging up old files to check where the cash came from... but i cant find anything...

actually if she offered to help i wun be so angry with her...but the FACT REMAINS THAT SHE WAS BLOGGING WHILE 2 COLLEGUES AND I WERE SEARCHING FOR THE FILES....

she knew that we were anxious for where the money came from... but she jus fark care... i seriously wonder why the person who created the trouble is not looking for ways to settle the problem.... and 3 other pple who is all rights is helping out... what kind of working attitude is this?

oh well... shant be bother with this kind of pple... next time i wun stay until so late just to finsih the office documents... if they really need the documents urgently... ask the other ger to do... i wun lift a finger to help....
